Culture
The culture in ancient Ghana revolved around Islam. Everything they
did their laws, their lifestyle everything was based on Islam. Ghana was
Really big on their religions. Those who did not worship Islam continued to
worship their traditional beliefs. Ghana was still very religious.
The spread of Islam in the civilization grew very slowly. It did began to
play a part in the civilization mainly due to one of the rulers that made the
power structure revolve around Islam. During the period, all religions
started to grow rapidly around the world. People were converted to
Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, and many others.
The main languages spoke were Soninke and Mande. These languages
were carried onto the civil actions because the people came from another
Civilization that the Ghanians had left. These languages still are spoken
today after thousands of years.
Many tales of ancient civilizations told tales of sorcerers ruling the land.
Ancient Ghana has had a ruler nicknamed the loin king who ruled them in
early 1400 B.C. He had changed the ancient Ghana civilization was never
the same after his death.
The culture in ancient Ghana was very rich. Modern Ghana is still
worshipping some of the traditions ancient Ghana had. Ghana had a lot of
culture all based around their original beliefs then later Islam.
